Photoshop? In a way...

Years ago, we took a little trip
down the Oregon coast
stopping to see lighthouses
beaches and boats.

I had my very first digital camera;
the rest of the universe
was still using film.

It was 2.1 mp and had a couple features,
optical zoom wasn't one of them.

I was plodding around my many photo folders
and ran across one grey and blurry shot.
It was the last stop at the coast and I was disappointed
that the tide wasn't out
and I couldn't walk out to the lighthouse for a better picture.
So, I ditched the rain and fog and here it is.

Ho Ho Ho

I spent yesterday with a couple friends - shopping and chatting and lunching.  It was great fun and very special for me - they shared their wonderful talents and gave me these Christmas gifts:

This lovely framed ACEO from Marlene, check out her shop Lazyhawk on Etsy - Polar bears for the holidays! A bow with holly adorns the baby bear and a couple ornaments shine in front of mama.

You can also follow Marlene's blog - Marlene's Musings

Here comes Santa!
This Santa ornament was handcrafted by Maggie at offmyrockermaggie on Etsy. He is so precious! and has been moving around my home looking for the best vantage point.

If you just love Santa - like me - you can make one of your own courtesy of Maggie.  Follow her blog
Off My Rocker and check out the pattern she has provided! (for Free even!)

In case you didn't guess - my day was Spectacular!  I met these very creative and fun ladies on line and am lucky that we live close enough to have these little excursions.  Thanks Marlene and Maggie, for a fun time and wonderful presents :^)

it is December...

No painting
just a peek

I've always been fond of Santa

so I collected a few

to get me excited about Christmas...

It works!
